Default 98 gt may need burial

well people. this has been one horrible week. someone decided to break into my gt, steal it and slide it into a pole driverside front fender first. both airbags blew, shredded the wheel, tire, and god only knows what else. to make matters worse the fine folks at the louisville pd have a hold on her so at the moment i can't even get it toa shop to find out if the frame is twisted. my baby is twisted.

I thought all Mustangs had the "anti-theft" feature with the chip in the key that was supposed to prevent it being started in that event. Did your car not have that or is the microchip in the key business bogus?</P>

Sorry about the car. I'll play taps for it if its done for.</P>

Yea Im curious too, I know I made a spare key for my stang, and my wifes Contour (I had a key machine), anyways they would unlock the door and steering wheel but the car would not start. Besides, where do you guys live to get your cars jacked so much? Auto theft is a rarity everywhere Ive lived.

Yup, that's what I did with my old Gt.Take as much as you can cause most of the time they wont take that into consideration and appraise it as a stock car.

I took all I could off of mine, and that should make up the difference if the insurance calls it a total loss and tries to screw you. Hopefully its not so bad and can be repaired.<edited><editID>Superbeast</editID><editDate>37909.9822916667</editDate></edited>
