Very nice, there for a second I was thinking that it might have been a clone or something. It's still really wierd that it shows up as a Bullitt, do you have all of the original Saleen documents?

No, I bought it used on Ebay..believe it or not with 21K on the odometer a year ago. It was all stock Saleen when Igot it. I haveupgrade/moddeda lot ofstuff since then. When I went to insure it my Insurance company states that it is a Bullitt Mustang. Weird.

My theory is that the car was slated for a Bullitt conversion but was bought up by Saleen before hand.

look for the centerforce df or dfx clutch. buy once and buy right.

input shaft breaks at 420-430rwhp.i found out power shifting from 3rd to 4th.(i babied every gear most the time and i got a little excited and accidently did it). Send input shaft to liberty gears which moves the tranny to around 750rwhp were the case integrity comes into play.

my yellow 2001 also comes up as a bullitt and my car was bought new by the previous owner and he claims its from a saleen dealership with all the saleen parts. I currently have 29k on it. i called this dealership and there not a saleen dealer but a roush dealer.
