Default 373s are killing my times!

well ever since i installed my 373s my 1/4 times are terrible, i ran a 13.6 and didnt hook up good either before my gears with the mods in my sig, i installed the 373s and then went to atco and ran a 13.7 at 103, 13.9 and a 14.2! i ran a 14.0 bone stock on stock **** tires! i thot it could be the track cuz it was prepped poorly i would hit second gear and go sideways, but i took it to raceway park for cruise night last night and still same thing, spinning terribly while launching at 2k and spinning and goin sideways in 2nd and spinning 3rd, and i have nitto drag radials 315s...what is going on!?!?!

Gears = Good

Your current suspension/tires = ****e

Get some tires and put some time into learning how to launch your car with the new set up.. Guaranteed success..

Cisurfer what are you 60 foot times? If they got worse it because you're not hooking up.

If you're times dropped with the gears it's because the gears highlighted your weak point...suspension and traction. Start there.

there's no reason (besides track prep, bald tires and maybe inexperience) for him to not hook up on nitto DR's.

time to do more to the suspension....possibly look into upgrading the fallowing:

shocks/struts
upper and lower control arms for the rear
full length sub-frame connectors

these should help out with traction a bit.

You have to consider the time of the year. It is getting hotter and more humid now that Summer is here, so your times are going to suffer. . . especially if you are comparing them to times ran in cooler weather.
