I raced a 4 door GA and got smoked whats up with that? The car was blue had some type of body kit on it and a v6 s/c motor in it, The guy told me it was a standard motor in the new GA T or F.



Now the race I was passing threw a little town in between San Antonio and Corpus Christi when i got to the one and only stop light this car pulls up next to me reving his engine so i figured easy race this car got me off the line and kept putting serious space between us. Neways the guy was cool and we met up at a Gas station and he showed me the motor that he claims is a standard motor. I posted on another forum but no one knew the answer is this a standard engine in the GTGA's and info would be great.....

what the hell is a GA??? if grand am then no it does not have aan s/c motor...

You can easily swap it in there though.



Toss on a smaller pully.....or go turbo....mmmmmm

This was a 00 Grand Am with shaved badges,body kit, rims,drop and a few other mods. He had the word AED on his back window dont no what that meant but it was a bad *** looking car and I saw with my own eyes the motor that looked like it had been stuffed in there, I didnt believe it came stock like that, the guy had this big smile on his face the whole time he was telling me about it.

=) I have raced some v6's and v8s, both 5.0s and 4.6s. A lot of people are shocked when i beat them, but most people will know its boosted from listening to the S/C whine. Anyways, its cool that some people are realizing the potential of us Grand Am guys. I just bought a 2.5inch pulley which should put it at almost 300HP =P. Anyways, ill see you at the track =)

I usually wouldnt admit to something like this but i was shocked when i saw the words 3800 supercharged on top of the motor. Im fixing to go back to this little town in a few days and i hope to meet up with the guy again, he's part of a huge local club called SR it had a full name but I only remeber the intials of it,he's also if im not mistaken the president of a domestic club because he was trying to get me to join.

As far as I know the Grand Am does not come stock with a S/C but nowadays you can buy anything for FWD garbage like that so its not that far fetched.

any grand am or prix from gm is a JOKE..... my sho n/a 3.2 v6 with only a chip intake exhaust and mass air, i beat s/c prix's 2 doors... like they r trash... do u know what a sho with an s/c lays down to the front wheels??? how's 400hp sound to u???? i've seen a fully built sho lay down 485hp.... pontiac is NO competion...u give prix or grand am an s/c u give a sho one... who will win well ther is ABSOLUTLELY no comp there... no tto mention the oooh so wonderful quality of a grand am.. my firend had a 99 gt.... went into wendies came out car was in flames...blew up for no reason...and the car is stock.... LMAO
