383 Stroker Motor in a 1996 Mustang GT
I know this a touchy subject for all you ford enthusiast but I wanna pull the 4.6 out and drop in a 383 stroker with either a th400 or a built 350 tranny. I paid 1500 for the car, I ran it and it warped a head after over heating. I'm not good with ford engines neither is my family so I wanna pull it out! Have plenty of chevy sbc motors and trannys...just seems like the cheapest and smartest way to go..??
I would like to hear your opinions on the matter...what would you do?

Im sure it can be done... Theres a few companies out there that makes K-members and Headers for SBC swapped Fox's ( I think LS1s)
So it is possible... Check with UPR for the suspension and Kooks or Hooker for the headers. The rest (wiring) is pretty much up to you

I know it can be done...I've already found the site for the K-members

I'm just not sure how the car/body will hold up under the torque...I'm hoping somebody would know how strong it actually is...i'm guessing I will have to invest in subframe and possible later a 9 inch rear end...if it will fit
