Tubular K-member + Long tubes.
I was curious if you have all the installation woes of long tubes with a tubular k-member, or if they can be installed and removed without jacking the motor.

I did not install my long-tubes myself. The shop that did it dropped the k-member to install the headers. I had one mechanic tell me he would never again install long-tube headers unless it had a tubular k-member. It frees up a lot of space for the headers.

Never with a Tubular K member... Installed them with stock K members, its not bad honestly.. Just unbolt from motor Mounts, Jack up, Side is Pretty Open to Install.. Hardest part was the Dipstick... BYFAR......

I installed my long tube headers with out doing anything else, easy as pie. You don't need to jack up the engine or do anything else. Plus with the tubular k member you can take the starter out without all the hassles as well.

I can pull my longtubes off in an hour with my tubed k and reinstall them in about 1.5 hours. Never once had to unbolt the motor mounts. Plus I pulled and intalled the engine with longtubes and tranny attached. You cant do that with a stock k.
