depends on what you want really. the KB is gonna give you monster torque when you hit the gas. the vortech will not have that instant boost but will keep building towards redline and will make more power up top then the KB. I went with the vortech because of the amount of parts out there for it and its going to be put on my DD so i can stay out of boost whenever i want but its there where i need it.

Its all preference. Both are great kits.

I think the kb will be the better buy since you do not need to dyno tune right after you install, kenne bell sends you a chip that is good. as for vortech not to familure but i know you will be spending 500 on a dyno tune. if it is a street car deff get the kb it will be insane on the streets. o and try to get you and a couple of buddies to help install it really is not that hard, kb gives very detailed instructions plus pics so no need to spend 1200 on install.

with a vortech you will need either 3:73 or 4:10 gears to keep up with the low end of a kenne bell. Might still not keep up they make instant full boost. But like said before the vortechs run better on the top end. I loved the vortech but if I were to do it again it would be kenne bell.

Vortech sends a chip with their kits.

depends on what the car is used for.

Sick street/strip car = KB
Great strip car = centri blower

+1 on doing the install yourself! saves alot of money and you get to lear how each piece is connected and works.

exactly, not to familure with their kits i thought i read on their web site that you send out you ecu? idk but are they as good as the kb chips is what i was trying to say. in either case i would still get a dyno tune regardless but with the kb setup it is not as demanded i dont think as the with the vortech setup.

Why does everything think that the kenne bell is always making boost? The supercharger kit comes with a boost bypass valve which runs off vacuum so you're not constantly building boost every time you touch the throttle. You can drive a positive displacement supercharge car all day and never see boost.
