no i meant 0 deg on the timing adjuster!! i know 10 is stock, and the wires look good on the coil packs
??? You don't retard it to 0 degree's, bump it up to 10.

i have the timing adjuster set at 4 deg advance giving the car a total of 14 deg advance, thats the max i heard u can go without det. if i had it at 10 deg there would be a total of 20!!

I don't think you quite understand how to use that timing adjuster. You need to adjust it to the 10 on the bracket...THEN you'll be back at stock timing. I recall going through all this with you once before in a previous thread...

Going all the way back to 0 is whats making your car idle like crap.

Ok i am going to try to explain this the best i can, its a mac timing adjuster so it has a total of 20 markings on the adjuster, 10 deg of retard max and 10 deg of advance max and a setting of "0". the "0" is stock timing which is 10. If i set the adjuster @ 4 deg advance then there is a total of 14, 10 stock + 4 on the adjuster, if I set it at 10 deg adv. on the adjuster then i would have 20 deg adv total making it too much, 14 is the safest I can go from what i have heard. If i set the adjuster at 10 deg RETARD THEN i would be at 0 total, 10 deg stock - 10 deg retard on timing adjuster = no timing advance. U guys get it??

I'm only familiar with a Steeda, I will have to check the directions for the Mac Timing Adjuster tomorrow at work. I'll get back to ya

Hey dan, did you ever figure anything out about the timing adjuster?? and on a side note mac's timing adjuster is set up different than steeda, mac's goes 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 where steeda goes 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7...etc all the way up to 20.
