Dude, when you add nitrous, you basically void all engine warranties. A friend of mine bought a new car and put nitrous on it about six months later. He took it into the dealer for a normal service check and they wrote right across his receipt "Warrantee Void, Car Has Nitrous"! At lease that was his experience. I suppose it is if they recognize it or not on your engine.

so......... if mine hasn't cracked yet, then will i not get a new one. my car is a 96 obviously isn't under warranty anymore.
Yea. Mines a 97, and I would like a new PI intake, but I doubt they would both replace and upgrade my perfect condition intake.... I'll go harass the ford people tomorrow...

Keep those updates coming!

Mine isn't leaking, but it will be soon.

The article posted isn't official. Anyone have the recall number on hand or any documentation from Ford?

i'm guessing they are ending it in 01 because that's when mid year they switched to romeo heads, and started using the corrected intakes. my stock 98 leaked, but was replaced by steen when i did my head swap.

i wonder if i can claim that with a reciept from steen?
