Default Exhaust help

Hi, I'm planning on getting JBA Shorty headers and need to know what catted H-pipe would go good with them if anyone is running that kind of set up.

Looking at H-pipes because want a loud deep sound from my exhaust

My current set up, BBK LT/o/r X-pipe/SLP LM exhaust, is really loud . . . I mean loud . . . but kinda raspy.

I'm replacing my BBK LT headers and o/r X-pipe so passing smog will be easier. I live in CA . . .

Any input is welcome and appreciated!

Looking at the MRT Catted H-pipe, anyone know a good place to order?

I used to have MRT's catted h pipe, then sold it when i got my long tubes and shorty h.

I got mine directly from MRT. I'm not sure if anyone else carries it.

It was a great piece, and sounded great. It sucks you have to switch to shorties for smog purposes.

Just switching from long tubes to shorties will probably cause a loss in the "deepness" of sound.

I was thinking of just getting a shorty h-pipe, but i don't know if it will pass inspection/sniffer. The last shop I went to, the guy didn't bother looking under my car though. He didn't even care that my CAI didn't have a sticker on it.

Well i guess you're taking a chance (not sure how bad Cali is) but all i know is that it would be hard for me to go to shorties.

I've heard so many Mustangs with shorties and long tubes, and imo there is no comparison.
