Default Control arms

http://www.uprproducts.com/shopping/shopaddtocart.asp

Currently have summit uppers and lowers but there in bad shape. I want to upgrade to spherical end control arms and the housing bushings. Are those a good upgrade or should i look for something different. My budget is $600. I go to the track about 10 times a year. I'm still running 4.10's, novi 2000, and slicks when i go so I'd like to get something to handle 400+ hp.

EDIT: just relized i posted in the modular section and this should be in the 4.6 general section sorry

how did the summit ones do? I see you have a decent amount of power, would they be ok on a car with just bolt ons?

Your link is to an empty shopping cart at UPR, so not sure to which arms you refer, but would recommend a set of Griggs LCA's. The picture in that link is INCORRECT and just spoke to owner about it yesterday. The LCA is a poly/sperical set of adjustable LCA's, but picture is a set of poly/poly non-adjustable set. I was told the pic would be corrected, so may be OK by the time you see this post.

As for UCA's, I have always recommended UPR Pro Series:

Griggs doesn't make an upper arm, so unless you go PHB/WL and torque-arm, this is the best way to go, IMO.

Baseline suspension makes a hell of a set of upper control arms. They have plenty of information on their website and it deserves a look if nothing else.

I should be getting a set of the UPr pro series like Jazzer posted up there /\. I have LCA's like the summit ones now but when they go bad I'm going with the baseline lowers.

i like the maximum motorsports setup..for 1400 bucks u get a complete rear setup with the lowers, the pan hard bar, and the torque arm which eliminates the uppers.

Man, if i was going to spend 1400$ i'd go with a watts link from fays2 for sure. Its less than 700$ shipped...add to that what ever you like for shocks and uppers and lowers and you will have a fine a$$...err..rear end lol.
