I set mine to .052 when I did them recently, if I remember correctly...

As far as the rear end oil, put in the whale sperm limited slip additive first, then fill it with gear oil til it spills out, then cap it.

The spec is 4.25 pints, 2 qts + 4 oz of FM. Most synthetic gear lubes don't need the friction modifier, check the label...

Any FLAPS should have the FM in stock--be careful with it as it stinks to high heaven (kind of like a sweet smelling cat ****). Spill it in your garage, or even in your driveway, and you'll be smelling it for months...

First time I have ever heard it described like that.
But yes, grab some from your local ford dealer and you'll be set. Usually, if you buy the rear fluid from them they will tell you you need the FM and they can tell you how much fluid you need. I love our local parts guys, of course, I deal with them everyday.

The Baker "hookout" is a great tool to have on hand as well, mine is well over 30 years old...
