Default What the heck are all of these wires?

Does anyone know what all these wires go to? I have had my mustang for a cople of months and I always noticed the headphone plug with the read light below the steering wheel by the gas and brake pedals, I alway figured it was for an mp3 player to hook up with the radio but when I tried it today and it did not work so I pulled on its wires and all of these came out from under the dash. anybody know what they are for?

is the head phone jack thing part of it? I do not see a computer for the alarm or a siren under the hood

It's an integrated blue tooth harness with out the control box. It's junk, throw it away.

x2, someone most likely pulled the brain out and left all the wiring in.

Should I try to remove it or should I just tuck it back under the dash and leave it alone

unless you're good with wiring, I'd leave it. Once you get into wiring on a mustang you'll realize how much of a cluster**** it is. I'd bring it to a shop and see if you can get an alarm that uses those wires, that way you can get an alarm for cheap.

I don't know of any alarm system that have TRS sockets. It 100% is not an alarm.

Here's a wiring spread sheet for you to track down an tell exactly where all teh wires are going and in turn realize if it is truly an alarm, A/V, or remote start wiring harness.
