Default About to upgrade the fuel pump?

I've heard of dropping the tank, being under the seat, and under the spart tire of mustangs.. which of these options can i use to get the fuel pump changed out. hoping i don't have to drop the tank. anyone done it?

dang, thats what i was afraid of.. have you done this before? if so how big of a PITA is it?

I've done it. It's easy. Just use a piece of wood and a floor jack.

Its easy. Get the floor jack and a peice of wood to support it, undo all the tank connections, then slowly lower it watching the filler neck as it likes to hang up. Other than that, that is it..
Its best to do this when you have 1/8th of a tank of gas or so.

alright cool, so using the piece of wood and jack to support the tank while you unbolt it, and where is the filler neck located, so i know where to watch for it at so it doesnt get hung up.

It's right in the center. Isn't bad to do at all like already stated. You don't even really have to drop the tank completely it can kind of be tilted so you can get access to the fuel hat. You'll see what I mean when you do it.
