My car is still having the problem sometimes. mostly when its hot outside. im about ready to buy fuel injectors,m and see if thats what the problem is. my car is still stock, but i have intentions to do upgrades like plenum, pulleys, cai, full exhaust, sct, etc. should I spend a little more and get some higher lb injectors or just go with stock replacements?

no I have not, I checked them all when I changed plugs, and the boots and everything looked good.. it doesn't do it all the time, but when it gets hot is when it does it the worst, and even has a stumble once in a while when its just at an idle when its hot. it feels like the car is running out of gas almost. but then for the most part, when it gets above 2000-2500 rpm, it clears up and takes off like a power band on a 2 stroke engine. thats what makes me feel like its injector related.. but I honesstly don't know.

no about ready to either buy injectors or cop's, from what i have read, cop's have helped people who have had sluggish performance, any suggestions? any opinions?

Well, if you are on a budget, get the 85$ set that is in my links section of my sticky. If you have a few hundy, then spend it on some weapon-X COPs, read cliff's review. They are worth it.

I have a similar intake with the air filter in the fender wall, one day I drove through a huge puddle, water went every where and completely soaked the air filter, it sounded like I had a set of bad *** cams, on the bad side, the car would stall when I was stopped in traffic.

A wet air filter is the equivalant of water boarding your car...

K&N makes a water resisitant cover for air filters in the fender.
