Default Long Tube on a Convert

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum...! I have a 1997 Mustang Gt Convertible with about 150k on it and am wanting to do some exhaust work to it. Can I put long tubes on it?...being that it's a convertible automatic? I know the convertibles have extra support under the engine as well as the transmission is kinda large...Just wondering if it would fit...Also, an ideas or suggestions on types of pipes...Thanks (yeah I really need a t-5 haha)

Yes, you can put LT's on your convertible. There is no Extra supports to interfere with the LT's.

Well I was wondering if mac's LT header would fit because mine stang has extra support above (monticarlo bar) and frame support under the engine....(for lack of not knowing that it's called) Also, I've thought about a PI swap but is it worth the price with this many miles....I'm kinda wondering/thinking about driving the car until about 200k and then rebuilding the engine and fixing it right...aka 400+hp...and putting a 5 or 6 speed in it. The car's in great shape, new top, tires, paint job, never been wrecked...and bought it for a really amazing deal....
