Default battery

Hey guys, i was just wondering if your check engine light will come on if your battery is low or about to go dead? Thanks for any info.

no and your battery light is only gonna come on if the alternator is going bad so pretty much if it goes you most likly wont have any warning

Every time I have had a battery start to go bad I noticed that after starting the car all of the gauges will peg all the way to the right, then back to the left, then read correctly. This can go on for a while (weeks, sometime months), and it always goes away when I replace the battery

Avoiding battery problems altogether is as easy as getting one of these.
