Ok i have an 01 gt but want to upgrade the fuel tank to a 03 cobra tank because i am tired of it bucking on me when i get to a quarter tank because the svt fuel pump and gt tank has no baffle. My question is how hp can the stock cobra dual pumps handle. If i upgrade to this tank with dual pumps will it it work ok with my gt or do i need any kind of computer upgrades. And how about the fuel rails, lines, and connectors. Will i have to buy all new cobra fuel lines, will the gt rails work ok. Will everything mesh for a gt with a cobra tank. Thanks

I have an ati procharger and about 450 hp right now, i have some bolt ons and upgrade exhaust also. I was told that the car would regulate the fuel as needed. I am having my engine forged out soon and plan to up the boost on my procharger. I am kind of building from the outside in getting prepared for more power so the fuel system was up next. What do you thing?

You can run dual cobra pumps with nothing else done. I think it's only good for about 500hp but more with a kenne bell BAP and sufficient fuel injectors.
If you're looking for 650 hp I think you'll need to swap out the cobra pumps to dual SVT focus, GT supercar, or Aviator pumps but you'll need an upgraded FPDM.
You can cheap out and build your own baffle for your existing tank like I did but it would be smarter to buy the 03/04 cobra tank like you're saying if you have the money.

I'm going with Dual GT supercar Fuel pumps, modified FPDM, Fore fuel hat, 60lb injectors, and making my own baffle system. I know a guy running this set-up at 680rwhp at only 80% duty cycle and quite a bit of room left to work.

I think the factory lines are rated for ~500rw. They flow surpriesingly well for factory equipment.
I would just buy the cobra tank.... they are all over the various forums for sale and are not really that expensive.
