Default mm rear torque arm suspension

has anyone on here ever tried maximum motorsport's rear torque arm and panhard suspension setup? im thinking about getting it in the future and would like to know how well it actually works. it will probably be cheaper for me to get a cobra irs off craigslist for cheaper though. after a cost benefit analysis, what is the suggested route to take?

well i do alot of driving and corner carving (or try to) i have no intention of taking it to the strip and i am not concerned with wheel hop. a major problem that i face is major amounts of movement in my rear suspension on acceleration. im almost leaning towards the irs just for price an ease of install compared to mm's kit.

The IRS will be an easy swap and can easily be done in 6 hours (faster for someone with all the tools and experience with such stuff). A well built SRA will be an improvement in the corners when it comes to the Mustang, so this needs to be decided. There is plenty of info out there on the swap, so Google away and see what 'cha think.

If you are into the twisty, I recommend a PHB and a TA over an IRS swap.

IRS isn't necessarily a better option over a PHB/TA set up.

My dream setup for the rear includes a T/A, PHB, Koni Yellows (single adjustable) with MMR rear coilovers.

i know it would be great for the twisties, but im wonderin if it would help at the 1/4 mile too? its gotta be better than stock right?

^ The issue is more with spring rates & shocks than the PHB and TA. Seems to me one wants relatively soft springs out back, but am not a drag guy, but....

It would be worlds ahead of stock. I don't know that I would bother for drag racing though. I am not a drag racer but I know that most people are not running TA's for drag racing. You can do some adjustable UCA's as well as some nice LCA's and then worry about tire, diff, axles, etc.
