Default LCA/UCA questions

I've read the various postings about LCA and street vs strip, after reading all the posts I think I have more questions than answers so I am looking for opinions. I have a 2001 GT currently getting a Vortech blower with 8psi installed, 3.73 gears, auto transmisson, 26" tall drag radials. I will be drag racing in the street class, but will also drive on the street regularly, but not a daily driver. The car is also lowered. Everything I read points to the Maxium Motorsports XD lower control arms with spherical bearings on both ends. For people who have used these, how loud are they on the street and do they transfer a lot of vibrations? Any other recomendations? I have not read too much about upper control arms, how important are they to upgrade, and any recomendations? On my Fox body when the UCA and LCAs were replaced one set of the quad shocks were also removed, do I keep these or? Sorry for all the questions and as always I look forward to your responses.

if you drag your car most likly the upper control arm bushings are shot. i myself would go with upr control arms. and it is the same set up as the fox once you have good uppers and lowers you can get rid of the quad shocks.

I have the UPR's with sphericals, they are a bit noisy compared to stock, but nothing to troublesome for me. Personally, contrary to most others say, I think a good set of uppers is almost as important as lowers. A set of adjustable uppers is going to let you set pinion angle, and going with sphericals is going to get rid of any bushing deflection on launch that could change your preset angle. Changing one will make a difference, but at the end of the day, all of your suspension parts need to work together as one functioning unit.
