They both get mixed reviews..... Vortech seems to reign as the quality king.

Paxton: Novi2k is an AWESOME blower, the base Novi isn't.
Procharger: Seal, bearing, oiling issues: Calimed to be fixed, who knows.
Vortech: VROOM VROOM!

I believe vortech is the best of the bunch and then paxton... I have heard that procharger had some problems but they say it has been dealt with.

Soo,, how much extra HP would a vortech blower stuck on my '02 GT get me? Right now the engine's stock cept for a K&N filter.. What is a safe boost limit? about 6-8psi or so?

I have both a Vortech and a Paxton. Boost is one thing(both of mine are making peak of 13#) the other thing is flow rate. The Vortech S trim has a rating of 1400 SCFM and the Paxton NOVI 2000 has a rating of 2000 SCFM. The higher flow rate will maintain the boost in more conditions and tend to supply the air at a lower temperature. It may not be a fair comparison but I think my NOVI 2000 out performs my Vortech S-trim. I have had both of them on the same engine.

I'd buy a Novi2000 before a Vortech as well. Hopefully soon

Vortech or Paxton. On my dyno a NOVI 1000 on a 92 GT w/ GT40 upper intake, electric fan, exhaust, and MSD put down 398 on a mustang dyno. I perfer either Vortech or Paxton. I deal with Vortech more than Paxton. I dont like the Pro Charger too well. GREAT design, but if you get it tap oil pan. Self containd $hit sux. Had a mach 1 on dyno with P1-SC with SAFE tune and first run was 378, 2nd was 364, 3rd was 358. Vortech and Paxton lost at most 5 hp. Go wih Vortech you will be happy.
