Before you do anything, what are your mods and what are your future (REALISTIC) plans for the car

Also, just a warning, be prepared to be flamed for wanting a typhoon intake. Why do you want a new intake? Stock one damaged? Or do you just have some $$ burning a hole in your pocket.

yeah man, on a serious note unless you are doing some decent mods your stock one is fine. If you are dead set on upgrading I would look at the Edelbrock Victor Jr. anything more than that and you'll probably lose hp/tq

I currently have a procharger and have a nitrous kit not yet hooked up. I was told it was not a good idea to run it on a stock intake. I have a forged motor. I plan to upgrade to the f1a series for the procharger. I am looking to build my car up right but am a novice at this. I have no idea if the typhoon intake is good or not that is why i am asking. Also for the edelbrock is says its for a 4 barrel throttlebody. I am not sure if they are 4 barrel or not. Can i put any throttle botty on it. How about the bbk. Thanks, i appreciate the help.

you want the edelbrock victor jr efi manifold. you can use all your stock stuff if you want, but i suggest upgrading your plenum to a race plenum. check out 6061.com . you will need either MMR fuel rails or edelbrock fuel rails.

Can i use a bbk plenum or does that make no sense with that manifold. What would the race manifold do for me and about how much do they cost. Would i have any issues with hood clearance. Thanks

i have heard of people losing a little bit with a flat top style plenum like the accufab/bbk or any of those. I went with the 6061 and its is pretty large which allows better airflow and less of a 90 degree bend. you could use stock, but you would need an adaptor plate then. if you went with one like the 6061 just plenum, gasket, manifold. I use 60# siemen injectors no problems with mine
