Exclamation kenne bell 2.1 2v @ 14 psi

does anybody know anyone who is running this blower on a 2v at 14 lbs of boost?

I currently have the 2.1 kit with some cams, but I'm about to build the bottom end, and stroke it, with some more aggressive cams, and try out those new trickflow 2v heads that nobody seems to know how they will perform with FI but i'm sure plenty of people are as curious as I.

i was talking to a few people about my build, but would like to speak to someone who is running 14lbs on a 2v with a 2.1 kit maxed out to see about what #'s they were putting down.

thanks MF.

Preston

I know a guy who at the time my build was in progress his car was after mine. He has a 2.1K with ported fox lake Stage III heads, blower cams, 14 psi, automatic and he put down 550 rwhp. You should see similar if not better results with those TF heads providing you go with an aggressive cam.

I know a guy that's running a 2.1 KB @ 11.5 psi with just full bolt ons (it's a 2004 gt with the stock bottom end) and makes 415 rwhp, and 450 rwtq. With an extra 2.5 psi, i would think it would be around 440 ish or so.

Sorry, that's the closest i could do for you.

Wait for the new trickflow type R head. They are made for Forced Induction.

see I was originally thinking the same thing Triangle, but then i hear other people chiming in stating the other side...

called up an old freind i met on here after i posted this thread, and told him my little delemma. He sent me this like where this guy fabbed an inlet peice for the blower and got it to spin 20 lbs! it sounds alittle risky, but its been over a year since the guy has done this, and i would like to follow up on him. the stroked 2v ran 600 RWHP. ****!

let me know what ya'll think.

GTRACER - and how long will we have to wait for THOSE to come out? lol! sounds great but i wouldnt want to hold my breath. do you have any links of these "R" heads? i am alittle curious... I was planing on just having the shop do their port work on them.... they do awesome job.

do you think stroking will hurt you as far as having bigger cylinders to fill. I was thinking of going that way and KB guy started talking about going with the 2.8.

Well, only problem with this guy was blower was getting heat soaked with blower spinning so fast. At the track last year he ran low low 11s with DRs and stock suspension. He is looking to break 10s this track season.
