Default Milky film on oil cap

I have an 04 GT and every time I take the oil cap off theres the dreaded milky film on the oil cap. If theres water getting in the oil its not enough to show on the dip stick, and when I look down at the cam theres nothing there either. Could this be condisation some how causing this or could it be a sign that something is failing, this is my first 4.6 and all the other ford V8's I have had never did it.

Nothing to worry about, take your car out on a nice long drive to burn off the access moisture.

^+1, if most of your driving is short trips that will happen. That sort of driving also means means you should change the oil more often, each 3000 miles or 3 months according to Ford...
