Default Build update/question

well, just ordered my forged internals the other day. The machine shop finished my .20 bore and hone on my 97 GT block and also ordered Manley Platinum series 18cc pistons, Modmax 4340 H beam rods, ARP 2000 bolts, rings and bearings. I dropped off my 8 bolt cobra crank to be balanced with it all. With this being my block/forged rotating assembly setup all i need to order are my ARP main bolts, MMR side bolts, and ARP head studs, and felpro head gaskets and I can start putting the motor back together. I already have MMR stage 3 PI heads, CMS stage 3 blower cams, and a port matched Edelbrock victor jr manifold.

This is a rough list of what is left to do:

Upgrade SQ trim to SI trim
Comp cam adjustable cam gears
SCT BA300 MAF
One more Walbro pump, hobbs switch
10% IW OD crank pulley
complete 8 rib setup (starting with a 3.0 blower pulley)
6061 race plenum
MMR windage tray
new motor mounts
Snow performance stage 2 boost cooler with solenoid upgrade

i already have built AODE with BC auto 3600 stall and custom valve body, built suspension, paxton front mount intercooler, slp longtubes, slp off road x pipe, slp catback, 70mm accufab throttle body, Cobra HO oil pump, 60# injectors, MPH boost pipe, walbro 255 intank, Edelbrock high flow fuel rails, etc from my old setup

is there anything you guys can think of that will keep me from hitting my 600rwhp goal?
Will the SI trim be good enough?
Is a 70mm throttle body big enough?

i know this is a lot, so any questions just ask. My compression will be roughly 9.5:1

Personally, just looking at what others have done, I'd bump up to a 75mm.

Stay away from the Comp Cam adjustable cam gears
Just had a friend who had them installed fail and destroy his motor
Go with Cloyes (the ones I run) or Modular Performance cam gears

WOW that sounds like a nice build you have going!
What psi are you planning on running? A 70 mm may be a little small, but that's such a small thing, it can always be changed later no?

thanks bro. with the 10% od, 3.0 blower pulley, and 8 rib setup i am hoping to be atleast 12-13psi, if not more. I really dont know how much the 3.0 will net me, so the second i see on the dyno i will know if i can drop to something like a 2.8 or what.

sounds good. thanks for the help fred. I'll definitely drop another 50 on the cloyes over the comp cam gears if your buddy had a set fail on him.

There a tons of failed Comp Cam, Fidanza, and the like horror stories all over the net. The biggest problem are the cheap aluminum bolts to hold the gears in place. With Cloyes or Mod Performance they use the factory cam bolt to keep the two pieces of the gear together
