Default 4.6 dohc turbo QUESTIONS

Does anyone know the max psi i can put on a stock 99 cobra? and what i will need besides the basic turbo setup, i mean fuel ignition and tuning?

6-7lbs with your heads and stock shortblock. I would highly suggest upgrading your rods and pistons before slapping a turbo on that engine.

oh and how about how strong is my crank and how much power will my block hold? and are my 98 cams good for turbo setup?

Some 99's got teksid blocks but not all. You would have to look and see what it is. Your crank is forged and your block whether it's a teksid or WAP will handle more then you will probably make.

you could have a Teksid block but you have to look at it to detemine If it is for sure. Your block and your crank ae not the parts you need to worry about. It is the rods and pistons

probably an SVT focus pump and some 42# injectors, you could use the MAF from an 03/04 cobra.

like ox said i wouldn't go more than 7 lbs ... 8 at the very most, make sure you have a good tuner because really thats what matters.

apparently i already have 03/04 cobra injectors and maf installed but will it work for blow through?

and whats a good cheap tuner that will work for me i need to cut off the egr codes too , and i would like to buy a used one like on ebay or ssomething.
