Default edelbrock victory jr intake.

ANybody using this intake? My plastic one is starting to leak now barely but i wanna look into options now before it gets outta hand. So any info on this would be great. WHat do i need to get in order to make it work with my setup? dO i need the fuel rails or can i just use the stock ones? and do i need the intake elbow from MHS or can i just get away with the stock one for now? ANd what kinda power gain can i expect from it? THanks guys.

I like mine, I had to get new rails. you can get away with a stock style plenum and make an adapter plate to bolt the plenum to the intake, but it chokes it down quite a bit I would suspect. I'm currently using an adapter plate with bbk 78mm setup, but I'm gonna swap to the 6061 eblow and new t/b before I go back to the dyno with the new ignition upgrades. From what I see you'll gain topend power at the loss of some midrange power.

haha listen we cant match with everything! WHat are you using with the manifold? I read some people just use the stock fuel rails somehow? I can make a piece for the tb thats not a problem. **** i was even thinking of making the 6061 elbow. I cant mig and tig weld as well as fabricate so it shouldnt be a problem. BUt im just wonderin if im gonna have to by the fuel rails.

From what I have been reading from Nick at MHS the plastic intake is fine until you start shifting around 7000rpm.

Friend of mine runs it on his 01 and loves it for the nitrous. It lost mad torque N/A though almost 15 ft/lbs . Gota get rails for it tho and new coil pack bolts other then that its one bad *** intake.

The stock rails bolt down from the top, the edelbrock intake has provisions for the rails to bolt down from the side. MMR sells rails that work with the edelbrock for less than the edelbrock ones.
