mhs stage 2 heads combo
so first ill tell you guys all what i got and then what im thinking of buying.. i have a 96 gt with about 90,000 miles.. only mods done to it right now performance wise is pi intake manifold, k &n cold air, bbk h pipe and flowmaster catback.. i wanting to build a full bolt on n/a car.. this is what im leaning towards
mhs stage 2 heads with the cms stage 2 cams on ebay.. $2000 fully assembled
longtubes, x pipe, upper plenum, 75 mm throttle body, 255 fuel pump.. debating on what gear choice i have 3.27's now, and thinking of going 3.90s or 3.73s.. now the question is or not to go with 42lb injectors and a lightning maf.. gonna have it dyno tuned in auburn wa by blood enterprises.. or is it not necessary? for $275 i can get the lightning maf and injectors.. so what do you guys think? my goal is to build a n/a into the 12's.. thanks brenden

the car is lowered right now, thats the only thing different with suspension.. i have 315's the suckytomos.. lol but i think ill get a set of mt et streets or slicks on some drag lights just for the track.. im just trying to figure out is the fuel system with 42 lb and lightning maf gonna be overkill or would it not be a bad idea??

you dont want to get injectors that are way too big for your application, and i'm PRETTY sure that 42lbs is way more than you need for maybe 320-330rwhp on an NA car, someone else can chime in who knows for sure.
read the how-to stickies, the one called how to get a mustang in the 12's. good info, and mustangman is right about suspension thats the first thing you should work on before trying to get the power.
are you really hell bent on getting heads and cams? for cost of those you can put a blower on your car and run 400whp all day. or for less than a grand have a badass nitrous setup.

I think the stock maf and a set of 24lb injectors would work just fine, 42lb injectors are way overkill for an n/a 4.6. Cliffyk has charts of how much hp different mafs and injectors will generally support. Maybe he'll post them or your could pm him and ask.

i had a vortech but never did put it on.. the reason im leaning towards the heads.. is i had to heli coil a sparkplug a few weeks ago to get back home ... it came out down the high way 4 hours from home.. so i want heads with more threads.. and figured for all the work to just build a n/a setup.. and maybe nitrous and bottom end down the road ...

i sold the car to a friend and bought it back, just found a receipt for the struts he had put on. they are the 5 way adjustable kyb agx struts.. and i know they are eibach springs. just not sure which ones..
