Engine go BOOM! What now?

I see that a 5.4l 2v is pretty straight forward. Just need an adapter plate for the intake, and maybe some slight modification to the exhaust. I can use same ECU, and wire harness. I don't know much about the MarkVIII, will it need a new wire harness and ECU?

go to MMR's website and check their prices. I think they even have a layaway or payment plan option on there. You wont get your motor till it's payed off but it's an option..

MarkVIII engine is really easy you dont need adapters, modify intake/exhaust nor wiring harness or ECU.... the reason I said go with a 4V is because they respond to mods A LOT better than the 2V engines.... But another option is to go with stock 2V heads, MMR shortblock and later on the road throw a SC on....

I'm taking it apart now. I had a mechanic look at it and there is no compression in the engine so I think my heads are bad. That might explain the coolant coming out of the exhaust. Am I wrong? I don't see a whole in the block, and I cant find where all the oil came out.
I'm trashing the block no matter what, but I want to find out if my heads are bad. Is that something I can without taking the engine out?

honestly the Mark VIII is like buying the non-pi version of the 2v in respect to 4v's. You will get 280-300 out of it. They are not impressive, but would be a decent replacement. I would stick with and build a 2v if I were you, or get a block with decent heads (unlike the mark viii )

Alright guys I appreciate all the advice and I have decided on a 5.4 2v. Im going to try and get this done within the month. I'll take a lot of pics and do a write up on the finished swap.
