This is a project that we could potentially do. Realistically, what kind of pricing are you guys looking for? If you guys could give some more feedback on exactly what you are looking for, we could very well make something like this happen.

Thanks,

Make it in a stock looking but new enclosure with the HID kit in there kind of like the OP's, and for under 500$ preferably under 400 if possible

high quality HID bulbs/enclosure that doesnt melt or anything for sure , i think you use good ones looking at your site. And if you could make them DOT approved somehow (not sure whats illegal about the kits you currently have) and easy plug and play installation that would be really good.

And offer them in smoked and not smoked versions too. That would be a selling point for me.

Freakin awesome man!!! I absolutely want to do this to my car, my lights totally suck at night. Not sure they would turn out as nice as yours though. I don't think they look that bad either. For me I'd rather have great vision at night than worry about the look too much.

hey bud thanks, ya the output now vs stock, is like comparing a Cobra to a v6 lol. Theretrofitsource dot com,or you can get on HIDplanet dot com and check the for sale section. If ya can, hold off a little bit bc TRS has a new, and modded projectors coming out. PM me if ya need any help.

why acrylic? for a 1 off attempt wouldnt it have worked out better with fiberglass or CF? you could have even made a mold first, and then pulled the acrylic off that?

i'm also interested in where you got the lenses from, i want to do my own HID mod on both the camaro and mustang. just wish they made square HID's...

I bought a pair of retrofitted mustang lights, just installed them.. i had to cut some metal behind the lights to have the projectors fit. My left still doesnt fit perfectly.

I am having an issue though, the brights dont work.. Any idea what could have gone wrong?

The person i bought mine from said it has something to do with the wiring but i plugged everything in correctly from what i could tell. The 2 wires coming from the actual projector housing supposedly control the brights, i clamped on some wire adapters after removing the plastic from the last 1/4 inch or so and plugged them into the harness that the seller provided.

Do you have any issue with your brights?
