I probably came off wrong with that last post. Understand that I love my mustang, but im at a difficult point where I've realized that to make real power on this motor would cost me quite a bit. And im more than a little frustrated. Thanks for your guys input so far though.

I feel your pain Tac. I love my mustang but I'm a bit underwhelmed with the power of this motor. I mean really.....180rwhp? It does have considerably more acceleration than my 6cyl explorer, but the initial thrill of that wore off quick.
Luckily there's some relatively inexpensive things we can do to get the hp back on par. And for me this is going to be an ongoing project car that my 11yr old son can help me with. He's already called dibs to drive it when he gets his license in ~4yrs. By then it will have classic status, and be worth $0 as a trade in )

op- if you're interested I have a pair of PI cams with cam gears I can sell you cheap. they have ~30k on them. shoot me a pm if you're interested.

If you need to hang with ls series camaros your prett much gonna need a pi swap plus nitrous or a supercharger

yeah man, if you are trying to hang with ls1's you are going to need some sort of power adder plus more. I have an LS1, and its not even a comparison, whole other ball game
