Cliffy is first class! Cliffy's car looks awesome.

I had pondered trying to relocate the cruise switches, but I decided that I didn't really want a new steering wheel that badly.

Wasn't there a thread somewhere a month ago from a small company selling aftermarket wheels with air bag compatibility? I'll do a search ans see if I can find it.

Edit: Nevermind, it was wrapping the current wheel

this is always an option as well... i basically just want a thicker steering wheel that is leather wrapped. Obviously the FR500 is discontinued, and AM has a couple nice MOMO's, so i was thinking about that route. Ill have to see what RedLine can do for me though..

I specifically did not want an exploding steering wheel.

I find it odd that the same government saying it's OK for you to drive down the road with one of them. live and connected to a triggering device and 18" from your face--will not let you ship one, disconnected from a power source and very unlikely to detonate, via their own postal service, because it is a HazMat and explosive device.

I went to Wally World with a tape measure and walked around until I found something that could do, or be altered to do, the job...

Well you could claim that you have to be 10" or closer to the steering wheel in order to drive it, and at that point you can have the airbag switched to be on/off, but still cannot remove it. Or so says the law in WI... i agree with you though, complete horse **** that they can govern such stuff as this.

I'd be interested in a REDLINE wheel wrap with additional padding, IF they ever get one on the market instead of just marketing applications for every other car on our forum.

I don't like being teased!!!
