Default Tire size

I am looking at getting some new to me tires and rims. I am not sure if the set I found will work though as my car a 2003 gt and the rims and tires are off a 2005.
Anyways the rims are 18x9.5 with a 45 offset, ford svt with 285/40/18 and 255/40/18.
The circumfrence of the tires will put my speedo off by 3mph, but the rim offset and width makes me wonder if they will work??

Well I think I found my answer, yes the rims will fit, but I would need to run spacers front and rear, .75" front , 1" rear, the tires though will be larger effectivly gearing my car up by 4%, huge difference no but would be really noticable off the line. Now to decide if a good deal is such a good deal.

I would NOT do this

Running a 9.5" wheel is sketchy up front on an SN95 and spacers compound issues of rubbing up front, due to scrub radius. Not only that, but you will likely have to cut the ends off of your existing studs, so they don't protrude out past the spacer and hit the back of the wheel mounting surface. This will force you to never run a wheel designed for your car or replace all the studs on your axles and hubs sometime down the road.

I opted to not buy the rims and tires, for a few bucks more i will just buy the right ones for my car. Seemed like a good deal until i started looking into it.
