Default clutch parts

so I recently picked up the cjpp cobra clutch replica, as mine is on its way out
I'm going to pickup the frpp TOB as well as the pilot bearing
any other suggestions on parts to add to this list?
I want to do this right and never have to worry about it again ideally

Make sure you have the flywheel resurfaced or buy a new one. Inspect the clutch fork and pivot ball for excessive wear or damage and replace if necessary. Replace your clutch cable and get a good aluminum aftermarket clutch quadrant/ firewall adjuster.

Make sure the clutch, p.p. and flywheel surfaces are super clean when installing them. Spray everything with brake cleaner and wipe off the oil. Be sure to torque all parts to proper specs and you should have a nice clean install.

It is not absolutely necessary that replace everything, but if you want to take out all the possible variables of worn out parts, just replace them with new while you have it apart. At least the fork, pivot ball and flywheel.

You can change the cable and quadrant easy enough, without removing the trans, at a later date if there is a problem with them. But, at the very least, you MUST resurface the old flywheel and clean all parts, or you could end up with a chattering clutch. Nobody wants that!

Check the condition of the clutch fork fingers, and resurface the flywheel.

The quadrant is a matter of preference, basically they are all aluminum. AM, CCW and CJPP have kits that include the cable, quadrant and the firewall adjuster, and they sell the clutch fork. Your local auto parts store should have a pivot ball in stock. Ebay is also an option, but I would stay away from the cheap stuff.

I've heard nothing but bad things about aftermarket cables since i joined this forum. If you're gonna replace it go OEM.
