Yes, you can change it to COP ignition. Is there a reason why you want to do that? What's up with the car? I've been mildly looking for a Mustang, too. Congrats on the find. Got any pictures?

I just offer him 1K cash, he said he would get back to me tomorrow. I cant wait, even thought about calling him back and offering up a little more cash.

As to why I was asking about the cop's read on the forum the COP are better and some what of an easy upgrade.

I dont have pics but if I get it i will post some if not i will share where the car is BTW this forum is the greatest

I lost it someone offer him his asking price, he never came back with a counter offer. This gut fixed "tightened" the oil cooler and now has it back on craigs list for $2800.00

http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/ctd/3607040355.html

Now looking at another one 2001 "bent valve on No. 6 Cyl" $3K
Should have paid the $1500.00

that guy was an idiot anyway. 97 gt's didnt make 305/300 hp/tq. you'll find a better deal for a nicer car. just look around.

I love it when people cant even get the f'n cobra badges on the correct direction. Says it is a 97 but has 94/95 taillights (yuk) that car looks like a basket case

And yeah, it looks like you're better off with losing that car. It looks beat.
