I would still suggest a tuner. The stock tune is pretty well junk out of the factory. A good tune would actually give you a little better gas millage as well.

+1, to quote cliffyk "pig rich" is the term I believe he used in reference to the stock tune. Getting a tuner is more than just bolt ons, it can help the car run more efficiently like dooney said.

i dont have that kind of money right now. maybe in a month. or rather I have to sell my old mustang before I am back in good financial stability.

I average 15 in my GT and even with the 93 performance tune it was at 14.5. I also rarely ever shifted at 2k.

Exactly, and it's a mustang, as I've often read several times. If you want good gas mileage, get rid of the mustang, get a Prius.
