Default 2003 GT

I recently lost my right leg to cancer. So what did I do I bought a 2003 GT to compensate. The only problem is I have to drive with my left foot via a "left foot gas pedel" modification. I want to start by replacing the exhaust system. I would like advise about headers, and pipes. I thought about a side pipe kit has anyone done this?? I have done some reading on MAC and BBK headers but I'm not sure which way to go. Can I get away with pipes w/o the cats?? From what I have seen you need the cats for the back presure for the 4.6 to run right?? Any advise is welcome.

lf the car is for street use, get short tube headers (l think that's what they're called...) As long as the headers are ceramic coated, you can get away with just about any brand. Backpressure is NOT good for any car. Get the Flowmaster or Magnaflow cat-back.
