Default Plenum/throttle body issue

Hey all, so I changed my plenum throttle body with an accufab thinking it was the best available and I keep having an issue. When I starting pushing the pedal it almost feels like its stuck. It's not a lot but its not a smooth push so what happens is I push and when I get the pedal to move the rpms spike making the car jerk forward. It's really annoying. I tried oiling up the spring for the cable but no good. Is their anything I could do other than taking this off. It added a little pep to the car so I def like this bolt on other than this problem

You need to adjust the throttle stop screw--more about that here. Disconnecting the battery for 5-7 minutes between major adjustments is not a recommendation--it is a required part of the process...
