I have a 98 cobra that when first started runs fine, but after it gets warm it doesnt want to idle and dies when coming to a stop. The funny part is when trying to restart the car after the stall, it sounds like its not getting compression (starter sounds too smooth). anyone on here ran into a problem such as this??

I had the same issue on my 89 5.0 L in my case it turned out to be a bad IAC.

more than likely its your iac gone bad one way to test it is to crank car and on the iac remove the connection to it if car idles down or stalls then its fine! but if not. then its bad

if it checks out fine. then you need to check the tps also
