SC GT with 4.10s. Need gear/tire size help.
I wasn't planning on SCing my car as soon as I did, so I ended up doing it while still having 4.10s installed. Last summer at the track, during the few passes I made, I was running out of gear about a second or two before the 1/4 mile. Currently have 285/35-18 Nitto 555s that I plan to get rid of.
My question is, while running 4.10s, is there a big enough tire I could run that would let me finish a pass through 4th gear or would I have to ditch the 4.10s to free up enough gear to get me through the 1/4 in 4th.

Without knowing your trap RPM or trap MPH its very hard to accurately calculate that.
You have a 25.85 inch tire diameter. Using this along with 4.10s we can back calculate it though. It still wont be as accurate as knowing the real numbers
You are trapping between 108.83(Cross at 5800) and 116.34 MPH(Cross at 6200).
I'm going to use the median trap speed which is 112.58 MPH.
If you are trapping 112.58 MPH with 4.10s you will need to step up to 26.8 inch tire to keep it below 5800 RPMs.
Running it up to 6000 RPMs is safe unless you beat the hell out of it at the track consistently. But if you have a rev limiter that stops below 6000 this obviously isnt an option unless you have the tune changed.
