2003 GT Convertible
Am wondering if I can get some advice from the forum. I bought a 2012 Mustang yesterday, I am getting ready to sell the '03 and am having a hard time coming up with an asking figure. Overall it's in good shape, has 231,700 miles on it though. It's an automatic. Anybody got an idea of the worth. It's red with black top, gray leather. Thanks in advance

Car values tend to vary a bit regionally, so being on the opposite side of the country I couldn't really say. What you might do though is look around on Autotrader.com for cars similar to yours to help come up with a private party sale value (enter your zip code and set the search radius to maybe like 200 miles). Due to the mileage, I wouldn't expect a lot - figuring the car is in pretty good condition otherwise, maybe around $3K at the most but just guessing there.
Good luck and enjoy your new '12.

Overall the car has held up well. Lots of tires and brakes, two intake manifolds at about 115,000 each. Replaced trans at 140k. Shocks one time. Had to replace one a/c line. I can't complain about much when you consider all those miles. It's been good, I guess that's why I got a newer version of the same thing. It's stunning though how much progress in technology between the '03 and the '12

I'm impressed that you got that many miles out of it,and with very little work.
I'm only at 70k with my 04 GT vert.Nice as it is,doubtful that I could get 8k for it.Nothing but normal service items, except for one manifold.
I'd like to get a 2015 GT coupe and keep the old vert, but after I make a big jump in features,I may not be so enamored with the old one.
