Default New mach 1 Chin spoiler-has me worried

how easy do these things rip off!??? I know I have to be careful around curbs and parking. I followed the directions and wish I used metal fasteners instead of the little dinky plastic ones. Anyone have any trouble with these or once they are on, kinda just forget about it!???

My 02 had plastic and never fell or ripped off, my 99 GT had bolts and worked fine as well

Mine is held on with the plastic Christmas tree plugs and I have curbed mine I don't know how many times & it has never come close to coming off.

It is actually a really resilient piece. After all the times I've scrubbed it across concrete it still looks good.

Find something else to worry about.

Wait until you lower the car. You think watching out for curbs is challenging now....

It will stay in place with the plastic push pin thingys, I'm dropped 2" and it's been on there 7 or 8 years like that. I hit/rub crap all the time, most recently a jackrabbit that left it covered in fur.
