Hi. Grateful if anyone has the opportunity to do a VIN check to me. The chassis number is 1FAFP45X53F327911.

The car is a V8 Cab Magnaflow from 2003, according to biluppgifter.se, it has had 5 owners, assuming 4 owners since it came to Sweden from the United States in 2009. Also interesting how many owners the car has had in US.

Hoping that I now found my dream car, but know that it is not unusual for former crashed cars also in Sweden.

No one has been interested in helping me in this matter, yet, so I now have checked it up myself. Have never done any vin check before, what I can see from the vin check the car seems OK, any of you experts will arrive to the opposite?

I found a VIN checking link here in the Forums last week (I think it was here) and used it. Very informative. I ended up printing out all the pages to keep in a file. Sounds like a great way to perform your due diligence on a car.

Found it; went to the top and clicked on "How To" then chose my vehicle. At the top of the next page there was a tab called "Tools" and it was in there.

It's not that no one is interested in helping you,it's just that some of us don't know how to do it.I assumed that it needed a payment for a Carfax report.Other than that,I just don't know.
....Four owners since it arrived in Sweden? Even if one assumes that one is the importer or dealer,isn't that a red or yellow flag to you?

I just re-read the post and saw that what you really wanted was a report of the vehicle history and that is usually done thru a paid site. Sorry. But the link above will tell you a lot about your car as it came from the factory.

i did a check on it at mycarfax and most i got from it is 12/17/2008 83,682 California

I checked mine before I bought it--used-- and it said it started life as a rental car in FL and then was sold to someone near Floyd, VA. It had been involved in a very minor collision and had all the Service Bulletins taken care of.

Maybe your car has had a very gentle life.
