Default What is this Sensor thing?

So there is this green Sensor cylinder thing that goes into the radiator and I need to know what it does and if I can leave it out of its housing area since it gets in the way of the procharger inlet pipe because it's housing is right below it. I included pictures below.

I believe that is the coolant level sensor. You dont need it if you know for sure your not leaking coolant or you keep an eye on it from time to time.

That part goes to your radiator fan. It should be mounted to the radiator fan housing. There is a spot where it goes.

Yeah I know that but my power pipe gets in the way of it, and I wanted to know if it was necessary, and what function it provided

Now that I look closer at it, I know exactly what it is, Its not the level sensor,,,

It is the resistor for your low speed fan operation,,, and I would try to rewire and relocate it so your low speed fan operation works.

I'm not going to disconnect it, you think it will still work if it's not in the hole? Because I was on planning to secure it to the coolant tank support.

Yea it will work, it just lowers the voltage to the fan when the low speed relay comes on. With out it the car may cycle the high speed on and off constantly.
