i think that someone who doesn't take their car to the track shoudn't bother with gears. spend your money on some cat-backs. you'll get a boost of power and a very satisfying sound.</P>

the diff is 300 rpms at 82 mph not much but you wont have a granny gear if you 3.73s one time i had 4.30s.with 3.27 1st.GEAR RATIO 14.06 OVERALL first gear dullalys have 18.0 to one.you can pull down a tree good.

If you search on the other mustang boards you'll bind that 90% of the people that went with 3.73's regret not getting the 4.10's. For me it's a choice fo 4.10 or 4.30, but thats me.</P>

not me my 83GTneeds less gear with the juice3.73s at 135mph a will be taching 6300rpms dont need to spin as high 4.10 would be 6800rpms going to try my 3.73for now just to see if me speed calculator is correct.i shift at 7800 without the juice need to see with the juice..had 4.30 in it for a week had no first gear pull had to shift to soon and 2nd car went nowhere just tack high dont go far but with 3.73s. my buddy said once you hit 2nd you were gone!

hea thats the only gear i dont have,,3.27,,3.73,,4.10..4.30..hell i sould get some 5.13s i could take off in 3rd gear.powerglide!!!!
