What is the best suspension setup for a good stance and will also help with drag racing and cornering at the same time? If I get some lowering springs will I also need shocks/struts and cc plates? I dont drag much but maybe on the street like once a week, but I would like better handling with the ride.

Also, if I purchase just some lowering springs with about a 2 to 2 1/2 inch drop will that be ok, just for a nice stance? And is it an easy job for me to do at home? I was thinking Eibach sportline for maybe a 2 inch drop, or the Eibach road race for a 2 1/2 inch drop. Will I need other things or can I just use springs with nothing else?

Lowering your car isnt going to help dragging at all. Harder to launch... the car wont "squat" as much.

I guess my question also falls into this category. I want to drop my mustang also, and I am thinking about the steeda kit that will lower it about 1.5inches, is it really necessary to get the C&C plates for a 1.5 drop?

the problem is your wanting your car to launch good and handle good at the same time. well good luck on that you can have one or the other no ride hieght isn't that important on a drag car (yes you can make a lowered car hook) its mostly spring rate. You can get a set of moroso trick springs and cut them(they are made to be cut for ride hieght) to your desired hieght. just don't sit your car so low that your on the bumpstops. or bottoming out your struts. either way a good set of rear control arms will help. but shocks and struts you can get a good set of adjustables that will let you set it up to drag or corner but you still have to deal with the springs.

so basicaly what i am saying is
what do you want to corner or to go in a striaght line?

I am more intrested in cornering. Has anyone in here installed the steeda springs, and if so did you install the C&C plates? I was going to buy springs this weekend, but if I need C&C plates also then I am just going ot get some pulleys.

Yes and no. You have to do something to correct the steering geometry. C&Cs work, bumpsteer kit, or offset rack bushings. You can buy the offsets for about $40 I think from FRPP. I recommend getting aluminum, as they are keyed and will not rotate in the rack. Of course, any one of these will require professional alignment be performed. Usually $49 at a dealership.

You can to the install on the springs and bushings yourself if you have the tools.

I never really go around corners fast or try to for that matter. I guess for right now I just want a nice looking stance. I wanna get a 2 inch to 2 1/2 inch drop. Is this ok, or do I need other parts?
