Control Arms

RE: Control Arms
Depends on what you plan on using them for. If your gonna be going to the track and using them on the street back and forth frequently, then you might want to go adjustable. But if its just a daily driver, and it sees the track or road course once and awhile, id just go non adjustable. Thats what I am going to do, I want to get some MM LCA's (Non-Adjustable) in the near future. I dont go to the track much, and am just looking to upgrade my suspension and eliminate wheel hop. I want to get the LCA's along with some MM Full Length XL Sub Frames.

yea, thanks. I think that solves it. I'm going with non-adjustables but should that be with both upper and lower. plus I have seen some full length subframes on ebay for pretty cheep and was wondering if anyone knows if they are any good?

I dont know the specifics, but I know LCA's aren't hard at all. Im gonna put mine on with a buddy, should be an easy job with the right instructions. I heard the UCA's are a bit harder and require more work to get on properly. Another reason to just go with the LCA's if your just looking to improve suspension and wheel hop.

They aren't that difficult at all with the right tools. Make sure you get a set that comes with the new installation hardware as occassionally you have to cut a couple of the old bolts to get the stock ones off. Another piece of advice I would give if your doing this in your driveway or garage is have a set of car ramps close by. The reason I say this is because once you bolt them in place the instructions should tell you that you have to have the suspension loaded before you fully tighten the mounting bolts. This is pretty awkward with the car sitting on the ground so when it comes time to load the suspension place the ramps under the tires and lower it onto those. That way the suspensions loaded and the car is still high enough in the air that you can comfortably get to the LCA mounting bolts to tighten them.
