POWER TO THE WHEELS!... thats what its all about. no joke.


Yeah man HONESTLY.... only way to keep up with an Ls1 moded (of course most are moded especially any that "race") is to get a S/C.

HOWEVER in a 1/4 mile you can run with them/beat them with out a S/C.

work on Weight and Suspension... its SOOOOOOOO important.



but yeah from ROLLS/// or highway races etc... you need to be blown to run with them.
b/c they STOCK put down as much power as a FULL BOLT ON GT.

^really? from a roll/on the highway?

b/c I figure with the "basic" bolt ons... they are putting to the wheels about what you are with "Full" bolt ons..meaning heads, cams/ any other internal work you have had done? not sure what exactly you have again.

compare to them with just say... CAI,LT's,Exhaust,Gears, Tune.
they seem to average about 310rwhp stock, no?
have heard of some putting more.
So I mean I figure the CAI,LT,Exhaust,and tune should get them in the 335-350 RWHP range.
and of course the gears, and im sure they wont be rolling on stocker tires.

but yeah I forgot your putting out about 350 to the wheels now as well, no?

also... out of curious- what do you have invested in your car? Parts,PAID Labor(work you didnt do yourself) etc... all of it... what is out of your pocket?

wish you would have bought a ls1 F-Body and invested that much, it would be much.... *ILL SHUT UP NOW*

and kept your black GT that was S/C'd -
then you could have went with your "N/A Goals" on your F-Body...


but of course thats all TALK...


...So what I think you should do is get into the 11's and call MM&FF or 5.0 etc...
GURANTEE they will want you in the MAG.

11second N/A GT.....Yeaaaaaaaaaauhhh!

Thought about an LS1, but the F-body's just don't hold up. The doors start to sag and they rattle like crazy. No doubt, the LS1 is a BEAST, but I am quite happy with my results. As far as keeping the Black Biatch, if we could have kept it, we would have, but we needed a 4 door for our kids and 2 hot rods just weren't in the cards.

Mustangs are much cooler than LS1's too. Mustangs just look mean as hell. I would hate to have a car thats fast but looks like it should be in matchbox set. I would take a Cobra over an LS1 any day of the week, no matter how much power the LS1 has.

I thought the 99-04 GT's had 260 rwhp...so why is it so hard to get to 300 rwhp..when cai gives u just 10 itself???

No, 260 is at the flywheel, about 225 to the tires with a 5 spd.
