I missed what happened to black widow when she bought her car... was it from ebay? I've been trying to get ahold of her but she has been scarce. If its a really bad deal let her tell me. Mail me Blk Widow.

Haha Steve - I've been trying to quietly let it die...it was a scam. I got him reported & the listing was removed. Ebay is investigating it - evidently the guy hacked into another user's account, which helps explain all the wonderful feedback the "seller" had. I kinda hope they nail him to a tree if they catch him.[sm=imsmilin.gif]

At any rate, I have since bought a '99 Cobra. I'm going to NC this weekend to pick her up. There's a post about it over in OT.

Thanks! It was just good timing - I've been trying to get a vehicle for a while. Now I'm really glad the previous attempts didn't work out!

I hate having a car payment. Buying one that's a little older allows me to pay it off in a couple years. I'm trying to get to where I can pay cash for my next car - but I still want a nice one to drive in the meantime! When I do get a newer one, the '99 will be built. I didn't want to throw alot of money into building the 2v I have now, so the Cobra fits in nicely with my "5 year plan".

Black Widow,,darling. The way I see it you have a problem and out of the goodness of my heart I may help you out. I know you haven't driven too many cobras but they have a clutch that is so stiff.... stiffer than a wedding d--- as my friend les would say. I know that you and I have similar problems physically. Since we are such good friends I would be willing work out a deal on that car and get you into and automatic transmission. Let me know how I can help darlin.. LOL
