Default Best 295/50/15 Tire

(first, maybe this should have been in general tech. if so, someone please move it, but i wanted most of your guys' opinions)

I have a 99GT 5sp, with 4.10's, and in the spring I will be switching over to a 15" wheel/tire combination.

I want a tire that will at least function on the street and in the rain, abut won't blow up into smoke instantly if I want to get on it in daily driving, however, I do not need DR's because I already have MT's on my 17's for the track. In addition to that, i would not be able to stay around 100$ a piece.

If ANYONE has any experiance with any of these tires, please let me know.
Prices are from tirerack, so I have'nt looked around much yet

BFGoodrich Radial T/A:104$
Dunlop GT Qualifier T:98$
Firestong Firehawk Indy 500:95$
Goodyear Eagle GT II:102$
Kuhmo Road Venture ST:70$
Yokahama AVID S/T:89$

why are you getting 15" for street and 17" for track? shouldn't it be the other way around? the 15" will be lighter then the 17" i want to get some 15" for the track.

I already have 275/40/17 Mickey Thomson ET Street Radials on my car now.
In the summer, I am buying 4 15" wheels, and 4 15" tires. I want to know which of the tires that I listed, is the best performing summer tire.
But yes darkhorse, in theory, if I were only interested in the strip, I would buy a set of 15" DR's for the rear.

Dude a 15 will look nasty on that [:@] But whatever floats your boat though. I'm a big fan of Nitto's though. Last a good while and are fairly decent in the traction department. But if you want all traction stick with the MTs you have just get them in the bigger size.

Okay, I am not trying to sound like a dick (sorry in advance if it comes across that way)

for darkhorse, though, i believe im going with a 205/50...195/50...or 205/60,,,not sure which yet. but on a 6" rim

but all i want to know is which of these tires is best. I already know what a 15" wheel is going to look like, and it wont be nasty. And i KNOW i am going with a 295/50/15, and it WON'T be a DR.. too exspensive. So which of these will be the best summer tire?

BFGoodrich Radial T/A:104$
Dunlop GT Qualifier T:98$
Firestong Firehawk Indy 500:95$
Goodyear Eagle GT II:102$
Kuhmo Road Venture ST:70$
Yokahama AVID S/T:89$

T.Y.
